Are you enlightened?

These days, the need for spirituality is constantly growing.

More and more people are drawn to the paranormal, to the point that films and activities related to this world have almost become the norm.

Some consult psychics, have their palms read, read their horoscopes, while others call upon spirits.

These practices are very appealing because they offer a sense of control, spark curiosity, and create a feeling of security. In reality, we have no control at all, and these pursuits can quickly become overwhelming and out of our control.

God is Spirit. He is one and only God.

However, He reveals Himself as three distinct yet perfectly united and inseparable persons. This is the mystery of the Trinity.

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

While the word "Trinity" does not appear explicitly in the Bible, Scripture suggests the idea of plurality.

Two examples illustrate this: the first is in Genesis (the first book of the Old Testament, also known as the Torah), and the second is in the Gospel of John.

Genesis 1:1 (NLT)

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

Au commencement, Dieu créa le ciel et la terre. Or, la terre était chaotique et vide. Les ténèbres couvraient l’abîme, et l’Esprit de Dieu planait au-dessus des eaux.

John 1:18 (NLT)

No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

Created in the image of God, we also reflect this threefold dimension: we are beings of a trichotomous nature, with a spirit and a soul, living in a body.

Genesis 1:26 (NKJV)

"Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

Our true essence is therefore spiritual. Even without being fully aware of it, our spirit and soul long to commune with GOD; yet, alas, we do not always seek Him as we should.

You and I were made to be part of something greater than ourselves, in fact to share a deep, personal relationship with God and to receive the salvation of our souls.

However, for our longing for spirituality and the supernatural to be truly and lastingly fulfilled, we must seek it at the only true source.

The one and only TRUE source comes from God. The Father of lights. God is generous and desires to give us gifts that will bless us and, above all, honor his name..

James 1:17 (NKJV)

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."
