Know Jesus

The Larousse French dictionary defines "connaître" (to know) as the ability to identify someone, to come into contact with them, to get to know them, or to include them among our relationships.

But then, how can one get to know Jesus?

That’s an excellent question...

And I’ll answer it very simply.

All you need to do is believe in your heart and confess with your mouth.

In Romans 10:9-10 (NLT), it is written:

« If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. »

But it doesn’t stop there. This is only the beginning.

Like any relationship, it must be nurtured, or it will wither away.

How can you nurture this relationship?

1 – By talking to Him every day: Share your joys, sorrows, fears, and even the simple details of your day.

2 – By reading the Bible daily, especially the Gospels, to get to know Him better.

To know someone is to spend time with the one you love.

By cultivating this habit day after day, a true closeness with Jesus develops. This relationship becomes a source of strength in difficult times and comfort in trials.

Jesus is as close as you desire Him to be: a simple prayer is all it takes to draw near to Him.
